Techne (or Alex) has been cosplaying for 6 years now and has created over 30+ costumes in that time. She is a craftsmanship and performance competitor and has won several awards across California including Kids Judges Award at Dragon Ball and Heroes Con 2019, Judges Award at SacAnime Winter 2021, Best Group Cosplay at Ani-Me 2022, 2nd Place at Anime Fuse 2022, Judges Award, Performance at Fanime 2023, Judges Choice at Ani-me 2024 and Best Individual Performance at Fanime 2024

Her journey began at 7 years old when she was given a sewing kit for her birthday. From then on she became proficient in sewing and in 2018 she attended her first local convention in High School; cosplaying was love at first sight. Now, she aims to become a Master Competitor with hopes to become Team Usa for the World Cosplay Summit in Nagoya, Japan!

Some of her favorite builds and designs include her quick change Madoka Magica Gown, Sundrop from FNAF, Hunter from The Owl House,  an original Ciel Phantomhive design, a classic ballet gown based on Princess Tutu, and most recently, a recreation of the artist Sakizo's Valentine Chocolate Illustration.
