Mima
Mima is the protagonist to the 1997 Horror movie, Perfect Blue. Haunted by her past career as a pop idol and the cruel eyes of the movie industry, Mima goes through a series of psychological torture and pain by her friend and manager.

I only recently discovered this movie, but it spoke to me with it's message of the pressure of having a demanding fanbase and career.
For this dress, I used yaya han's one piece pattern and created a simple circle skirt pattern for both layers. This dress is paired with chucky red, mary jane's, handmade white gloves, white thigh highs and a parasol prop from an antique store.
